Program Patron Forms

Please invite booster clubs, administrators, parents, families, and other music supporters to become Program Patrons! For $30, they or their organization’s name will be recognized in the program at both the middle school and high school performances. We are asking for this donation to assist with the many expenses associated with the Honors Festival and, at the same time, promote their sponsorship.

Honors Festival Announcements

The District 1 Honors Festival audition entries and forms are due Sunday, November 10, 2025. Please be sure to submit your information
well in advance to avoid any complications. See the District 1 Honors Festival web page for more details on all deadlines.


District 1 OMEA hosts the Honors Music Festival to highlight the talents of our Junior High, Middle, and High School Band, Choir, and Orchestra students throughout the District. More specific information for each group can be found below.

The festival co-chairs are Megan Hayes (hayem@elmls.net), Ben Pack (bpack@nbls.org), and Emily Meyerson (emeyerson@nbls.org).

IMPORTANT FESTIVAL DEADLINES

  • October 1, 2025:  Applications and audition materials go live on the D1 OMEA website
  • November 10, 2025:  APPLICATION SUBMISSION DEADLINE
    • **REMINDER - Middle School applicants may only audition for ONE ensemble.
  • December 5, 2025:  Notification of acceptance
  • December 12, 2025:  Last day to withdraw from ensemble without financial responsibility
    • **All forms need to be submitted on this date digitally to ensemble chairs (student participation agreement, image release form, emergency medical form, and proof of director OMEA membership).
  • December 27, 2025:  Payment to chairs postmark date.
