District 1

District 1 of the Ohio Music Education Association serves music education in Defiance, Fulton, Henry, Lucas, Williams, and Wood counties in Northwest Ohio. It is one of three districts that makes up the Northwest Region of the Ohio Music Education Association. Music educators in District 1 strive to deliver the very best opportunities in all aspects of music education to their students, schools, and communities.

TRIAD is the cornerstone publication for the Ohio Music Education Association. Published on a triannual basis, TRIAD features academic, pedagogical, and news articles from every level and discipline of music education in Ohio. Informational reports from OMEA committees and allied organizations are regularly published as well as reports from the music departments of Ohio's numerous colleges and universities.

Members of OMEA have unlimited access to a knowledge database and educational theory from across decades of OMEA contributors.
