Performing in front of knowledgeable and appreciative audiences can be professionally satisfying for you and personally rewarding for your ensemble members. In order to make that happen, you need to apply! (Ensembles selected for the most recent PDC are not eligible to apply.)

Application Timeline

OMEA uses a formal application procedure for those who wish to apply to perform at a future OMEA PDC.

• April 1 - the application window opens on this website. Directors complete an online application and upload recordings of the ensemble.
• May 31 - the application window closes.
• August 1, (approximate) - results are emailed to the applicants. Acceptance agreements are included for selected ensembles.
• Sept 1 - performance times/schedule sent to all confirmed ensembles.

OMEA Membership Requirement

Directors and co/assistant directors must maintain OMEA membership in good standing at the time of application and performance. If selected, the submitting director must be the director of the ensemble at the time of performance.
